Copyright Policy

At Sounda we respect the intellectual property rights of others and are committed to complying with copyright laws and regulations. This Copyright Policy outlines our procedures for addressing copyright infringement claims and explains how we handle alleged infringements on our streaming service.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringements

If you believe that any content available on the Sounda platform infringes your copyright, you can submit a notice of copyright infringement to us at copyright@sounda.co. Your notice should include the following information:

a. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

b. Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed.

c. Sufficient information to locate the allegedly infringing material on the Sounda platform (e.g., URLs or other identifying details).

d. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number and email address.

e. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.

f. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. Response to Copyright Infringement Notices

Upon receiving a valid copyright infringement notice, we will take the following actions:

a. Promptly investigate the alleged infringement and review the provided information.

b. If we find the reported content to be infringing, we will take appropriate actions, which may include removing or disabling access to the infringing material.

c. We may also notify the alleged infringer and provide them with an opportunity to submit a counter-notification.

d. If a counter-notification is received, we will review it and may reinstate the removed material if we determine that the original notice of infringement was submitted in error.

e. We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Service.

3. Counter-notification Process

If your content has been removed or disabled due to a copyright infringement notice, you may submit a counter-notification if you believe the material was removed in error or misidentification at copyright@sounda.co. Your counter-notification should include the following information:

a. Your physical or electronic signature.

b. Identification of the specific material that was removed or disabled and its location before removal.

c. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

d. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number and email address.

e. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original copyright infringement notice or their agent.

4. Repeat Infringers

We may, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users before taking such action.

While we strive to promptly address copyright infringement claims, please note that we may not be held liable for any delays or failures in removing or disabling access to allegedly infringing material.
